The phase 3 plant upgrade bids have been tentatively awarded at a construction cost of 9.2 million dollars. A request to PENNVEST for increased funding has been submitted. A tentative settlement date for the PENNVEST funding has been set for August 21st. A notice to proceed may be issued immediately thereafter. The phase 3 upgrades will include a diffused outfall under the stream, A new chlorine building and feed system, new sludge digesters, new reedbed facility for sludge management, a vehicle storage building, and plumbing, heating, lighting, roofing, doors, windows, and alarm system upgrades to the existing buildings.
